Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to CHANGE THE SPECIFICATION. DELETE PARAGRAPH 3 IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND SUBSTITUTE IN LIEU THEREOF: "The Terminal shall be a NERA Saturn B Transporter (BRAND NAME) unit, with a DTE 25-pin RS 232 serial port data interface and 9-pin RS 232 with data interface cable: No other unit is equivalent." DELETE PARAGRAPH 8 IN ITS ENTIRETY, AND SUBSTITUTE IN LIEU THEREOF: "The total weight of the Terminal shall not exceed 26kg. The dimensions of the Terminal shall not exceed 63cm x 48cm x 27cm." DELETE PARAGRAPH 10 (THE LAST PARAGRAPH) IN ITS ENTIRETY AND SUBSTITUTE IN LIEU THEREOF: "The Terminal interfaces shall include: External Tel/FAX outlets 5 x 2 wire with echo canceling and touch-tone dialing,FAX CCITT G3 at 9.6 kbs, PC 9-pin RS 232, Printer 9-pin RS 232, and DTE 25-pin RS 232 and 9-pin RS 232 with data interface cable." The due date for receipt of offers IS extended to SEPTEMBER 4, 1998. ALL OFFERS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE THIS AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO RFQ3-102939 IN ORDER TO BE RESPONSIVE.
