requirement for Land Base Operations Console Station System and
Subsystems Upgrade for the Yokota Hospital. All equipment must be able
to integrate with the current systems being utilized at Yokota AB,
Japan and meet applicable NTIA and APCO 25 standards. Description: The
console upgrade will provide 1 ea. Base Station 132-154 MHz, 125-25
Watts, 50 Hz power supply, Conventional Secure Operation, 30" Cabinet,
Emergency Power, Battery charger HP, Triple Circular operation, and
Base Station should be equal to operational functions of the Motorola
Quantar part # C99ED Base Station. Base Station must be able to connect
to remotes by the use of normal telephone line. Quantity 1 ea. Antenna
roof mounted; 136-143 MHz OMNI, 5.25db CWA, Lightening/Surge
suppressor, requires emergency back up power. Quantity 1 ea. Secure
Console Interface unit that contains a battery back-up, proper code
select, extender card, key zeroization, secure code storage, Encryption
Half/full DPLX, Receive clear alert,test handset, positive mode
control, battery tray for 2 each batteries and 120V, 50Hz, AC 20 Amp
circuit protector. Should be equal to the operational functions of the
Motorola Console Interface part number T5007-X. Quantity one (1) each
mobile console and four (4) each fixed consoles are required to have
trunking emergency and reset switches, assignable channel control
module. 30 minute battery back up, Conventional Base Interface Module
(BIM), Smart phone patch interface module (SPI), channel license for
B1840 converter channel, channel license for Q3207 SPI on Elite, two
(2) each 9600 baud modem. The remotes should be able to connect to the
Base Station by using normal telephone lines. Should be equal to the
operational functions of the Motorola Gold Series compact consoles part
number B1808. Quantity one each Emergency Room work station, L-shape
(90 degree angle), Color: Gray, writing surfaces, foot support,
electrical utility strip, Sonalert, alarm output, Touch-screen
software, 20" Anti-glare television screen monitor, places for five (5)
other communication devices such as crash lines etc., and Network hub,
12 10-Base-T hub. Item should be equal to or exceed the operational
functions of the Centra-Com work station. Quantity 25 each Hand held
potable radios, 136Mhz -- 174Mhz, 1-5 Watts, must have muliti-key
encryption and Astro Digital CAI Operation. Hand held portable radios
must be equal to the Motorola XTS -- 300 Series 1 part number
H09KDC9PW5-N. Quantity two (2) each mobile radio units, 136-162 MHz,
25-50 Watts, Astro Digital CAI Operation and Multi-key Encryption,
DES-OFB/DES-XL encryption and broadband antenna. Mobile radios must
meet or exceed the operational functions of the Motorola Astro-Spectra
part number T99DX. Quantity 14 units Mobile Radios 50 -- 100w (136 0-
162 Mhz), Astro Digital CAI Operation and Multi-key encryption,
DES-OFB/DES-XL encryption, and broadband antenna. Mobile Radios must
meet or exceed the specifications of the Motorola Astro-Spectra part
number T99DX. Maintenance/Warranty: A comprehensive minimum of one year
warranty is required. This system must be returned to operational
status within 24 hours of any failure. Manufacture must demonstrate the
ability to provide timely support for this complicated system in an
overseas location. Contractor must be familiar with the United States
and Government of Japan Status of Forces Agreement as it pertains to
radio operations and frequency usage. Installation: The contractor
awarded this purchase request will be required to provide all
engineering services, pre-installation surveys, complete turn-key
installation, integration with existing base communications systems,
custom programming, system debugging, and user training. Contractor
must have competent, experienced and knowledgeable engineers and
installers familiar with Motorola equipment. This Sources Sought
synopsis is placed in order to generate an initial vendor list, for
purposes such as obtaining market information and facilitating early
industry involvement with the acquisition. We anticipate a "Best Value"
type acquisition, considering technical acceptability, price, and
