R -- MANAGEMENT OF GYMNASIUM SOL DEA-RFI-GYM DUE 091098 POC Jeffrey Saylor, Contracting Officer, (202) 307-4366 The U.S. Department of Justice, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) is seeking sources to provide professional management of the DEA's gymnasium. The DEA has free weight, circuit training equipment, and an aerobics area within the DEA's facility at 600 Army Navy Drive, Arlington, Virginia which is available to its staff from 6:30 AM -- 10:00PM. All equipment is Government Owned and is currently being maintained on site. The interested sources would be required to provide guidance to government employees on the proper use of exercise equipment, instruction on workout techniques, manage cardiovascular classes, perform wellness classes regarding nutrition and stress reduction, and prevent entrance into the gymnasium of non-DEA employees. The contractor's staff would be expected to perform daily inspection of the equipment (to include lubrication and tightening) and facility to perform minor repairs or request repair of the equipment. Must be licensed and able to perform CPR and take blood pressure accurately.
