This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number N62604-98-Q-4596 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The standard classification code is 3312, small business size standard is 1000 employees. A firm-fixed price purchase order will be issued under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Contract line item 0001 is for: Pipe, black steel, 14 inch outside diameter, .375 inch wall thickness, 20 foot length, conforms to ASTM 53 bell one end -- quantity 4 each; line item 0002 is for casing, black steel pipe, 6 inch inside diameter, 6.625 inch outside diameter, 10 foot length, schedule 40, conforms to ASTM A53, T & C tapered closure opposite end -- quantity 2 each; line item 0003 is well casing, black steel pipe, 6 inch inside diameter, 6.625 inch outside diameter, 20 foot lengths, schedule 40, conforms to ASTM 53, coupling in place and thread protection on male end -- quantity 110 each; line item 0004 is wire well screen, wrapped, 6 inch PS, 10 foot length, .025 inch slot, type 304, stainless steel, male and female pipe threads -- quantity 40 each. Delivery is FOB Destination, Gulfport, MS, 30 calendar days after award. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotes (RFQ). The following Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) provisions and clauses apply: 52.212-1 Instructions to Offers-Commercial, 52-212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items, NCBC will use the following factors to evaluate quotes, in descending order of importance: A. Technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement and B. Price. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quote conforms to the solicitation most advantageous to the Government, price and technical characteristics considered. Companies wishing to respond to this solicitation should provide the following: A price quote, submitted on your company letterhead or your standard company quotation form, showing solicitation number, unit price, extended price, FOB, prompt payment terms, delivery time, and correct address.
