Cincinnati Contracts Management Division,
ketchum.linda@epamail.epa.gov. The US EPA Contracts Management Division
in Cincinnati is accepting quotes for destination pricing for a HPLC
system as follows: HPLC System consisting of four major components: 1.
Autosampler -- an autosampler which can store a number of samples and
then under the control of the data system, inject each sample into the
HPLC separations unit. 2. Separations Unit -- the separations unit
consists of a series of tubing, valves, bottles, and pumps that permit
the analyst to store and pump up to 4 different solvents, degas each
of these solvents, vary the concentrations of these 4 solvents being
pumped into the chromatographic column, and heat the chromatographic
column, all under computer control. 3. Detectors -- two different types
of detectors are required. The first is a diode array detector that can
detect either single or multiple UV wavelengths. The multiple
wavelengths can be either a few selected wavelengths or it can scan
over a broad range 190-800 nm with better than 1.5 nm resolution. Must
have an <10ul capacity flow cell, with at least a 10 mm pathlength.
Optimization of the lamp must be computer controlled. The second is a
fluorescence detector, capable of scanning over a broad range of
wavelengths. 4. Data System -- a computerized data system that is
capable of controlling the functions listed in 1-3 above as well as
storing and processing the data obtained from the detectors, or items
1-3 above that is fully compatible with our laboratories Water's
Millennium 32 HPLC data system See Note 26 Posted 08/25/98
