This is a notice of intent to negotiate with SATEC, 900 Liberty St, Grove City, PA 16127 on an other than full and open competitive basis to procure upgrading of 1 each 200k Vertex Hydraulic Universal Testing Machine Retrofit system to upgrade the capabilities of an existing BTE type manually controlled Hydraulic Testing Machine. The government intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with SATEC for they are the original manufactures of the equipment and therefore, maintain the proprietary rights to the technical data needed to accomplish the upgrade. Delivery is required FOB destination to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Hgr 101, 47765 Ranch Road, Unit 1, Patuxent River, MD 20670-1469 within 15 weeks after contract award.
