Service-Washington intends to acquire software databases for the Army
Civilian Personnel and Equal Employment Opportunity community for a
large number of Army installations located throughout the United States
and many installations located overseas from Information Handling
Services, 15 Inverness Way East, Englewood, Colorado 80112-5776 for
U.S. Army, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Army (Manpower and
Reserve Affairs). These databases are used by the personnel community
to conduct research within the personnel, equal opportunity, labor
relations, labor classification, travel, and merit system fields.
Search capability within a database and across all the databases is
available. The databases are available on CD-ROM for stand-alone and
networked environments, as well as on-line at an hourly rate, based on
total and concurrent users per site. Full text of each document in all
data bases, context sensitive 'help' screens, and onsite training and
support is available. The databases are updated on-line or on CD-ROM.
Updates will occur daily on-line, or each month using CD-ROM. On-site
training and technical telephone support for the products are available
during atlantic, eastern, central, mountain, and pacific time zones.
