the AN/ULQ-13 (V)1 and FUSES system, PORTS Projects, Electronic Warfare
(EW) systems: WLR-1H, ULM-4, SSQ-82, SLA-10, SLQ-32 and the Interrogate
Friend or FOE (IFF) tracker as provided under FAR 37-102(d). The
contractor shall demonstrate expertise in and be capable of:
recommending repairs, engineering redesign, system testing to assess
performance, safety, operability, reliability and maintainability;
producing reports and procedures, serial communication protocol, target
tracking algorithm, investigating compatibility and interface issues
providing solution recommendation, on-site engineering investigations,
system configuration status, design recommendations for test set
production, develop test procedures, provide qualified personnel for
design review attendance, technical problem meetings, user conferences
and program status reviews; preparation/publish Technical Repair
Standards (TRSs), repair and maintenance actions (above and beyond the
skill or organizational personnel) on deployed equipment, problem
analyzation providing oral and written status/repair reporting,
performing repair based on obtaining authorization approval, Government
Furnished Material and Equipment maintainability and responsibility,
training and course material development on EW equipment while
providing qualified instructors to instruct courses at destinations
specified in S.O.W, testing/analyzation of range and accuracy of IFF
Tracker. Deliverables: technical reports and management
recommendations. The government shall have unrestricted use of all data
or documents acquired under this contract. Clearance level SECRET is
required, and will be verified with DIS prior to award. A limited
amount of government furnished facilities will be available. Period of
Performance is 1 year after contract award date. It is anticipated a
written solicitation will be issued approximately 10 Sep 1998. A
firm-fixed price purchase order will be awarded using Simplified
Acquisition Procedures. This action is 100% reserved for Small
Business. The Standard Industrial Code is 8711 and the size standard is
$2.5 million. Quotations and the above required information must be
received at the above contact point in this office on or before 21 Sep
98 at 12:00 Noon Eastern Standard Time. Numbered Notes: 1, *22 and 26
apply. *Note 22 exceptions: per authorization of FAR 6.302-1 the
