The Social Security Administration requires contractor services to remove existing ceiling tiles and install new Government provided fiberglass ceiling tiles at the Harold Washington Social Security Center, 600 W. Madison Street, Chicago, IL. The contractor will also be responsible for cleaning and repairing, where necessary, the ceiling support system. All work will be performed on weekends, from 6:30 p.m. on Fridays through 6:30 p.m. on Sundays. The required work must be completed within 6 weekends after commencement of work. Solicitation SSA-RFQ-98-0008 will be available on September 4, 1998. Copies of this solicitation may be obtained by calling the Procurement Office at 312-575-5514 or 5513. A site visit and walk-through has been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. (Chicago time) on Thursday, September 10, 1998.
