The abover referenced Solicitation will be issued on or about 14 Sep 98 and is restricted to only 8(a) firms located in the Albuquerque District which have SIC Code 1542 among their approved SIC codes. All other firms are deemed ineligible to submit offers. The magnitude of this project is more than $10,000,000.00 and the performance period is one, 1 year basic period, and four, 1 year options. Funds are not presently available. In general, the work consists of furnishing a broad range of repair, demolition, alteration and new construction at Kirtland AFB, New Mexico. The contract will be an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract and will include a wide variety of individual construction tasks as identified in the Unit Price Book and Specifications. Task Orders will include tasks for a variety of trades, including, but not limited to, carpentry, road repair, roofing, excavating, interior demolition, new construction, concrete, masonry and welding. Kirtland AFB is using the Internet for advertising and issuing the solicitation. The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after receipt of bids, with no obligation to the bidders by the Government.
