A -- SUPPORT SERVICES TO CONDUCT SURVEYS IN CLASSIFIED MILITARY OPERATIONS RESEARCH SOL 98-R-0005 DUE 101298 POC Helen Paul Contracting Officer, ONR 253, (703) 696-8556 The Government intends to negotiate using other than full and open competition with the Military Operations Research Society (MORS) to perform support services to conduct surveys in classified military operations research, which will consist of the following: (1) Planning and execution of annual military operations research symposia; (2) Planning and execution of up to three special meetings per year; (3) Assembling, composing and distributing a report of each symposium; (4) Assemble, compose and distribute proceedings or report of special meetings; (5) Printing and distributing the quarterly bulletin of military operations research, PHALANX and quarterly journal Military Operations Research to individuals and components and; (6) Conducting other related activities as required. MORS is currently performing these tasks under contract N00014-97-C-0096. MORS is the only known contractor with the skilled, trained and dedicated force of volunteers who can multiply the efforts of the contractor's paid staff in the performance of these tasks. MORS is the only professional society dedicated to military operations research with the reputation and mailing list to insure that the appropriate people are invited to the symposia and other meetings. The period of performance will be from 01 January 1999 through 31 December 1999 with four (4) one year options. The Small Business Size Standard is 8741 SIC and $5M.
