Davy, Regional Contract Specialist, 606-253-8892 The Federal Bureau of Prisons intends to award a non-personal service contract to the individual/business capable of providing quality x-ray technician services to the inmate population housed at the Federal Prison Camp, Seymour Johnson AFB, Goldsboro, North Carolina. Duties include but are not limited to: Performing normal x-ray duties such as chest, abdominal and extremity x-rays, maintaining stock of x-ray supplies, and taking x-rays to contract radiologist for interpretation. Individual must be a licensed/certified X-ray technician in the state of North Carolina, and be a graduate of an approved X-ray tech. school. Medical indemnification insurance shall also be required. The contract will be for a base period, not to exceed 12 months, and four one year option periods. The solicitation is 100% set aside for small business. Services shall be provided as a non-personal service contract and not a personnel appointment. Total weekly hours will not exceed 30 hours. The anticipated solicitation issue date is September 9, 1998, with an anticipated quote due date of October, 1, 1998. Period of performance shall begin on February 10, 1999.
