This requirement is for the transport of four (4) high pressure air storage vessels from the AEDC PHMS staging area to the AEDC APTU test facility. The Contractor shall provide all material, labor, and equipment necessary to provide on-site support for the off-loading and moving of each air vessel. Each vessel is 70 feet long, 7 feet in diameter, weighs approximately 170 tons, and is valued at $2,000,000. The vessels will be transported along the existing roadways without damage to the roads or other facilities. The work is to be performed at Arnold AFB, TN.
