Interested concerns having the ability to provide secure, residential, contract juvenile facility services for male and female Juvenile Federal offenders in the Northern District of Indiana are requested to give written notification (including complete name and address, telephone number and contact person) to the Contracting Officer listed in this notice. Services required are for juveniles care, custody, control, accountability and treatment to include furnishing of subsistence, and medical services, except the expense of hospital, surgical, prescriptions, and dental treatment. The services described shall e in accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prisons Statement of Work, "Contract Secure Juvenile Facility" dated March 6, 1998. No operational hotel/motel will be considered as a facility for this requirement. Estimated number of male and female inmate days is 3,650 per year for both base years and each of three option years. The estimated Request for Proposals (RFP) issue date is October 8, 1998. The estimated RFP closing date is December 10, 1998. The contract base period is October 1, 1999 through September 30, 2001 with three one-year option periods to renew. An Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity, Fixed Price type contract is anticipated. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by this agency.
