Pileggi The Air Force Medical Logistics Office/Veteran's Affairs Special Services is requesting quotes from qualified contractors to perform medical Transcription Services for dictated material which includes a high incidence of technical terminology and requires knowledge of specialized vocabularies. This shall be on contractor-owned equipment at the contractor's place of business for Scott Medical Center, Scott Air Force Base, Il, and the contractor shall be responsible for electronically transmitting the completed medical transcription and storing and printing it on contractor-owned equipment at Scott Medical Center. Material is dictated by many different dictators requiring adaptation to variations in accents, speech, tone, voice volume, delivery, pronunciation, and enunciation. Period of service will be October 1, 1998 or date of award, which ever is later, through September 30, 1999 with four, one year option periods, if exercised. The Request For Quotations will be available on or about September 8, 1998 with quotes due September 18, 1998 at COB.
