2-WAY RADIO/PHONE COMBINATION This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with information in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This annoucement constitutes the only solicitation. PROPOSALS ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is NRCS-01-SEAL-98 and is issued at a Request for Proposal(RFP). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)code is 4812, with a small business employee size of 1,500 employees. This procurement is unrestricted and is being advertised as full and open competition. CLIN Item 01- The contractor shall provide 231 Multi-Service 2-way Radio/Phone Combination 1 watt portable with 2 batteries, 2 clips and rapid charger, heavy duty portable digital, 3 line display screen for text, numeric, and voicemail. Motorola #L3000-Q299 or equal. CLIN Item 02- Thecontractor shall provide 5 Multi-Service .6watt portable with 1 battery and charger Motorola #i600/Galaxy or equal. CLIN ITEM 03- 5 Vehicular Chargers Motorola #NTE8105 or equal. CLIN ITEM 04- 5 Carry Holders Motorola #NTN8366 or equal. CLIN ITEM 05- Recurring Monthly Access Charges Region Dispatch a minimum of 700 minutes for 236 2-way Radio/Phones. CLIN ITEM 06- Recurring Monthly Access Charges Phone Service a minimum of 75 minutes for 20 2-way Radio/Phones. CLIN ITEM 07- Paging Capabilities for 1 2-way Radio/Phone. CLIN ITEM 08 -- Toll Free Service for 8 2-way Radio/Phones. All 2-way Radio/Phone Combinations will be used through out the State of Alabama as a source of communication between field office personnel. Clauses/provisions: FAR Clause 52.212.1 "Instructors to Offerors-Commercial," is hereby included by reference. The following are addenda to FAR Clause 52.212-1: Paragraph (c) Period for acceptance of offers; The offeror agrees to hold prices their proposal firm for 60 calendar days from the date specified for receipt of offers. Award may be made to a single offeror. Offerors are advised that awards may be made without discussions. Award will be made to the responsible offeror(s) whose proposal is responsive to the terms of RFP and is most advantageous to the government.
