Y -- 8(A) BASIC ORDERING AGREEMENTS FOR EMERGENCY REPAIRS AND MINOR CONSTRUCTION, FOR N&MC RESERVE CENTERS, SF BAY AREA SOL 8(a)BOA-RFP POC Ms. Patricia Want, (510) 302-3355 Naval Facilities Engineering Command, Engineering Field Activity (EFA) West, San Bruno, CA wishes to set up multiple Basic Ordering Agreements (BOA) with 8(a) construction contractors, to cover emergency repairs and minor construction projects for the Navy & Marine Corps Reserve Centers, and other facilities located in three separate regions within the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond. Individual projects will be solicited and awarded if and when required, and no minimum award is guaranteed. The normal range of projects will be less than $100,000. General contractors are preferred, but a limited number of specialty contractors will be considered as well. SIC codes include 1541, 1611, 1623, 1711, 1721, 1731, 1741, 1742, 1751, 1752, 1761, 1771, 1793, 1794, 1795, 1799 and related, for construction, maintenance/construction, and incidental design and engineering services. Interested 8(a) contractors are invited to request a copy of the solicitation package, plus a Contractor's Evaluation Survey form, by contacting Ms. Patricia Want at ROICC, SF Bay Area at (510) 302-3355 no later than 9 Sep 98. The survey will include the following: a) past performance, b) work experience, c) organization, and d) subcontractor associates. A pre-proposal conference will be conducted at EFA West, San Bruno, to explain the program and answer questions about the solicitation and the evaluation survey form; details of time and place of the conference will follow by written notice to planholders. The deadline for the completed evaluation surveys will be one week after the pre-proposal conference. Each firm will be screened based on the information provided in the survey.
