This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and the solicitation number is TIRNO-98-Q-00264. The Standard Industrial Classification Code for this action is 3571, Electronic Computers. The size standard is 500 employees. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) intends to contract with Outreach Technologies, Inc., 9101 Guilford Road, Columbia, MD 21046 for the following PC/Teleconferencing equipment. The IRS believes that Outreach Technologies is the only company which can meet our mandatory requirements of having voice and data capability while eliminating the video capability. The IRS requirement is for the purchase of two (2) CONFERease Model 948 -- 48 user server systems, associated software and documentation. The contractor shall install and maintain the equipment for 12 months. The servers are to be installed at the Internal Revenue Service, Austin Service Center, 3651 S. Interregional Highway, Austin, TX 78741. Delivery of the equipment is required within 30 days after award. All responsible sources who can provide the above requirements shall submit written quotations no later than September 14, 1998, at 2 pm EDT.
