This announcement constitutes the only solicitation -- quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). Submit written quotes (oral offers will not be considered), on requisition F41636-98-Q-0757. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-04. The provisions at FAR 52.22-41 Service Contract Act of 1965, as amended (May 89) applies to this solicitation. The employee classes are 23181 Electronics Technician Maintenance I and 23182 Electronics Technician Maintenance II, with 29.55% fringe benefits. U.S Department of Labor, wage determination number 94-2521 revision 16 (06/01/1998) is applicable to this requirement. Contractor shall perform nonpersonal service for maintenance of government owned Motorola trunked land mobile radios at the 400 MHz range for Lackland AFB TX for the period of 1 Oct 98 to 30 Sep 99 in accordance with manufacturer specifications to include all parts and labor. There are 729 radios (560 ea SABER I, 14 ea SABER II, 41 ea SABER III, 27 ea MTS-2000, 18 ea MTS-2000 III, 23 ea Spectra D/T, 46 ea Spectra). The following response and repair times must be adhered to: (1) Priority 1 for fixed stations; response time is 3 clock hours, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; repair time is within 24 hours, calculated from time of arrival on site or delivery of equipment and return at contractor's expense. (2)3-4 business days turn-around for portable and mobile radios at contractor's expense. Contractor must bid on all items. FOB: Destination for delivery is Lackland AFB, TX. 78236.
