Ptashkin, Code 3353, (215) 897-7596 NSWCCD-SSES is seeking potential sources to provide services in support of a Central Dispatch Center for police, fire or emergency medical calls at the Philadelphia Naval Business Center, Philadelphia, PA. Citizens with complaints requiring police, fire or emergency medical assistance, requests for services or information relative to these services will contact the Emergency Communications Center (ECC) through emergency telephone numbers. All requests from citizens for any of these categories of services will be processed by the ECC and appropriate personnel will be dispatched. The ECC dispatcher is responsible for maintaining system discipline, for handling radio and telephone message traffic accurately and as rapidly as possible, for determining the order of priority in which transmissions will be made, and for directing and controlling the use of all frequencies. The ECC will be manned twenty-four (24) hours a day, seven (7) days a week. The successful contractor, should a contract be awarded, will be required to have a secret clearance. Training in CDNSWC-SSES procedures will be provided to the successful contractor.
