The replacement consists of replacing the old brake calipers and rotors with these new parts . New parts to include: free- backing disc,mechanical automatic reverse release, caliper housings, rotors, self adjusting dual piston caliper and brackets. All parts are made of solid alloy bronze,assembled with stainless steel hardware which makes this product noncorrosive. By having an open caliper top, it allows visual inspection of the linings. Braking system is designed for use with 545-UHK (No. 84) Spindles and UHI Idler hubs. A brake technican is required to preform the repairs on site and all expenses for travel, lodging, labor, and food must be included. Delivery to be 30 days after receipt of award. FOB Destination delivery to Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, NC 28547. Awards will be based on price and ast performance. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6. This announcement is issued as a request for quotations and constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested.
