This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is F04700-98-Q-1816. This is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through FAC 97-03. The Air Force Flight Test Center has a requirement for Crystal Oscillators, Model Number 281-3852-4, with the following frequencies: 7.5KHz, 8.46KHz, 12.14KHz, 22.17KHz, 25.01KHz, 28.21KHz, 31.83KHz, 35.90KHz, 40.49KHz. These crystal oscillators are exact duplicate of Vectron cyrstal oscillators already installed in the RCC control panel of the RSS equipped ARIA aircraft. They are an integral part of an existing electronic design. The government intends to purchase these items from Vectron Internationalunless other sources can provide the items at a more favorable prices, terms, and conditions. Acceptance: 30 days after receipt of order. FOB: Destination. The following provisions and clauses apply: Provision 52-212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, also applies.
