Solicitation scheduled to issue on or about 9/30/98. This solicitation
is re-issued to incorporate the following Multiple Award Schedules,
previously managed in Auburn Washington: FSC Group 79, Part II, Section
A -- Warewashing Compounds and Laundry Detergents; FSC Group 79, Part
IV -- Floor & Carpet Care Products; FSC Group 79, Part V -- Sorbents --
Marine and Non-Marine; FSC Group 79, Part VI -- Biodegradable
Cleaners/Degreasers & Miscellaneous Cleaning Products; FSC Group 79,
Part VII -- Cleaning Chemical Dispensing Systems; and FSC Group 79,
Part IX, Section A -- Auto Care Products. This solicitation is a
standing solicitation for Federal Supply Schedule FSC Group 79, Part I,
Section B, from which the Government contemplates award of contracts
for supplies listed in the Schedule of Items. This solicitation will
remain in effect unless amended and/or replaced by an updated
solicitation. There is no closing datefor receipt of offers, therefore,
offers may be submitted for consideration at any time during the life
of this solicitation. Effective immediately, this Federal Supply
Schedule will no longer have a prescribed beginning and ending date.
The schedule period will be continuous, and will contain contracts with
periods that commence on the date of award (DOA) and expire five years
(exclusive of any options) from the DOA. In addition the Multiple
Award schedule solicitations will become "standing" opportunities for
new offers. This means that new offers may be forwarded to the
Contracting Officer, at the address above, at any time. Contracts
awarded under this solicitation will be in effect for five years from
date of award, unless further extended pursuant to any Option to Extend
the Term of the Contract, or canceled sooner. FSC 7910 and 7930.
Standard Commercial Products; Multiple Award Schedule; Fixed Price
w/EPA; Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity contracts for cleaning
equipment and supplies (accessories & attachments). Delivery within
10-60 days ARO; FOB Origin, Worldwide coverage. To assist customer
agencies to determine when they should seek a price decrease, a level
called the maximum order will be established under each contract. When
an agency order exceeds this amount, it is recommended that the agency
contact the vendor for a reduced price. The vendors will not be
obligated to accept these orders in accordance with FAR 52.216-19.
UNDER THIS SOLICITATION, OFFERS WILL ALSO BE ACCEPTED FOR BRANDS
IDENTICAL TO THOSE CURRENTLY AWARDED. See Note 12 (Trade Agreements).
All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
