801-539-4222 JOB TITLE:Scanning the Utah State Office's master title
plats (MTP's), historical indeces (HI's), and controlled documents
indeces (CDI's) onto CD Rom. STATEMENT OF WORK: There are approximately
2600 townships for the State of Utah, and each township contains
several MTP's and 10 HI's; there are an estimated 30,000 pages. There
are also approximately 120,000 aperutre cards with deed and conveyance
information. Because these records are used on a daily basis, the
documents cannot be removed before 4 p.m. each weekday and must be
returned before 8 a.m. the following day, except on weekends and
holidays. All scanned copies must be of originals and not copies of the
records, except the CDI's, which can be enlarged if necessary. Because
of the age and condition of some of the documents, great care must be
exercised to ensure that the documents are not damaged. All documents
must be maintained in township and range order. The finished product
must be legible. The products will be inspected as they are first being
produced and final inspection and acceptance shall be made at the
completion of the project. The contractor shall furnish all necessary
