Department of Energy (DOE), is seeking potential proposers for laboratory analysis services for the Nevada Test Site, for a one-year period. The subcontract calls for analyzing samples and reporting results within a short lead-time. At a minimum, the laboratory awarded this subcontract must possess the following: A current Radioactive Materials License. A current USDA soils permit. NVLAP Accreditation for bulk asbestos by PLM and TEM. AIHA Accreditation for solvents, metals, asbestos fibers, and silica. OSHA approval for Blook Lead analysis. Must be capable of being approved for NVO-325 for handling of mixed waste. Must be currently participating in EPA Performance Evaluation Program for Water Supply, Water Pollution, or the Contract Laboratory Program. Must have a current Chemical Hygiene Plan. Asbestos fiber counters must be on AIHA's Asbestos Analytical Registry and be board approved. Must participate in an asbestos fiber counting Round Robin Program with two or more outside laboratories.
