This project consists of supplying and installing eleven new platform lifts which will be located throughout the Federal Correctional Institution located at Tallahassee, Florida. The range of magnitude for this construction project is $100,000.00 to $250,000.00. This is a firm fixed price contract. The duration of contract performance for total project two hundred seventy-nine (279) days from notice to proceed. The SIC code for this project is 1799, prior year gross not in excess of $7.0 million dollars. Solicitation packages will be available on or about September 10, 1998, with a bid due date on or about October 19, 1998. A pre-bid conference is tentatively scheduled for September 22, 1998. All bidders are strongly encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference due to the unique nature of working at a Federal Penal Institution. Plans and specifications will be made available for inspection at no charge, after formal issuance, at the Contracting office located at FCI Tallahassee. All requests for the solicitation package must be in writing, addressed to the Contracting Officer.
