The Department of Veteran Affairs, Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN) 11, will conduct a pre-solicitation conference on September 23, 1998, between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., local time, at the John D. Dingell, VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit, Michigan. The subject of the conference will be a VISN 11 consolidated procurement for transcription services. The purpose of the meeting is to obtain industry participation in the identification and resolution of potential concerns regarding the procurement of transcription services for VA Medical Centers located in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, Detroit, and Saginaw, Michigan; Fort Wayne, Marion, and Indianapolis, Indiana and Danville, Illinois. Parties capable of providing the required services for all VISN 11 facilities are invited to participate. Industry comments and input into the final solicitation are requested to ensure the best value procurement. The draft solicitation will be sent to all interested parties.
