FISC San Diego is announcing its intent to issue a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. A WRITTEN RFQ WILL NOT BE ISSUED, QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED WITH THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. The solicitation number is N00244-98-Q-0408. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 90-04 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. The standard industrial code is 5731 and the business size standard is $6.5 MILLION. The agencyneed is for a complete audio system, which will be delivered to the Naval Air Facility in El Central CA. Delivery shall be made FOB Dest. The items are as follows: clin 0001 is for one (1) each 12 X 16 ATA rolling rack case for equipment. Clin 0002 is for one (1) each cassette / CD combo unit. Clin 0003 is for two (2) each handheld vocal microphone. Clin 0004 is for two (2) each weighted microphone stand. Clin 0005 is for one (1) each 12 channel mixing console. Clin 0006 is for one (1) each concert series 3 wireless system. Clin 0007 is for four (4) each power amplifiers. Clin 0008 is for sixteen (16) each 15" x 2" coax speaker cabinets. Clin 0009 is for sixteen (16) each tri pod speaker stands. Clin 0010 is for twenty-four hundred (2400) feet of 12-gauge bulk speaker cable. Clin 0011 is for two (2) each digital EQ feedback suppressors. Clin 0012 is for one (1) each RMS / PEAK stereo compressor limiter. Clin 0013 is for two (2) each 50' microphone cables. Clin 0014 is for two (2) each custom rack wiring, patch panels, & speaker output panels. Clin 0015 is for necessary and appropriate connectors. Clin 0016 is four (4) each ATA fiber flight cases for the speakers. Clin 0017 is for eight (8) each ATA flight cases for the speakers. Clin 0018 is for training and support in operation for the customer and a one-(1) year warranty. This equipment will be used as a portable public address system for the NAF El Centro air show.
