Travis Air Force base intends to procure a preventative maintenance agreement.Period of performance is 01 October 1998 through 30 September 1999 with a provision of 4 year option for Government owned Aegis diagnostic image storage and retrieval software and network equipment. Due to the proprietary diagnostic image storage and retrieval software owned by Travis Air Force Base, the Government intends to solicit only one source, under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competiitive proposals. However, all proposals received from responsible sources will be considered. Requests for copies of solicitation must reference the solicitation number and must be in writing. The request for proposal will be issued by mail approximately 6 days after the publication of this notice. This solicitation will be awarded as a firm-fixed price contract utilizing the commercial item format outlined in FAR part 12. Requests for copies of the solicitation may be faxed to 707-424-2712.
