The Environmental Protection Agency intends to renew their subscription for LEXIS-NEXIS automated legal research system under the Library of Congress' FEDLINK Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) for FY99. This requirements is for on-line electronic retrieval from databases which give full text access to legal information and news from over 140 national and international publications and wire services. This service provides for information in the areas of legislation, regulation, business, financial, public record, medical, current affairs, and news wire stories. Legislative databases include access to case laws, administrative decisions, statutes, regulations, law review and speciality publications. Through an Interagency Agreement, EPA/OGC and ORC are to receive LEXIS legal data based services under the Federal Library Committee's FY99 contract with LEXIS-NEXIS. LEXIS-NEXIS provides access to its computerized files, all necessary LEXIS operating software and user training. The period of performance is from10/1/98 through 9/30/99. No solicitation is available. Therefore, respondents to this announcement possessing the ability to provide the services stated above must submit written notification to the attention of Melissa Revely-Brown, at revely-brown.melissa@epamail.epa.gov, that fully demonstrates their ability to satisfy the requirements above.
