THIS MODIFICATION NOTIFIES POTENTIAL OFFERORS THAT SOLICITATION RELATED INFORMATION WILL BE ISSUED ELECTRONICALLY VIA THE INTERNET. This contract is to provide administrative support services for the Department of Energy, Nevada Operations Office (DOE/NV). Under this effort, the Contractor will be required to perform tasks in functional areas such as mail room operations, records/central files, directives management, word processing, and data entry. Security clearances at the "Q" level will be required for a portion of the staff performing under this contract. The Standard Industrial Code for this action is 8744 with a size standard of $5.0M. The proposed contract is 100% set aside for small business concerns. See Note 1. The anticipated issuance date for the Request for Proposal (RFP) is September 10, 1998. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501 and 5.102(a)(7), therefore hard copies will not be provided. Concerns interested in reviewing the RFP or wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: http://www.nv.doe.gov/business/procurement/solicit.htm. If you have already submitted a request to receive a copy of the RFP, a letter will be mailed to you on or before the issue date notifying you of the electronic issue of the document. There will be no printed or hard copies of the RFP mailed, unless requested after the issue date.
