LEICA SPECTRAL CONFOCAL MICROSCOPE VA Puget Sound intends to negotiate a sole source purchase of the following equipment from Leica Microsystems, Inc.: Spectral Confocal microscope to include inverted microscope, upright fixed-stage microscope DM LFS, three-channel TCS SP System, and two 21-inch monitors. The equipment is compatible with existing scientific equipment and is necessary to preserve the integrity of critical research results. No solicitation document exists; this notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for bids. Alternative products will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing evidence that they meet the compatibility requirements necessary to meet the Research Department's approved protocol.
