The National Park Service, Yosemite National Park requires the installation of a Fiber Optic Network in the El Portal, CA Warehouse/Maintenance Complex. The network will be a modified collapsed-backbone, fiber-to-the-desktop design located in a mixed industrial/office environment. It utilizes cross-connections at most interconnect points, but also includes 28 intermediate splices. Cabling for the network has been installed, but the network is incomplete and requires connectorization, testing, and documentation. The estimated magnitude is between $100,000 and $250,000. The successful contractor will be selected based upon price and non-price factors. Non-price factors include prior experience, past performance, technical expertise and training certification/experience of workers.
