Information Infrastructure and Architectural Support Contract (IIASC)
was released on September 2, 1998. Offerors must submit technical
questions to the Contracting Officer within ten calendar days of
release of the solicitation. Proposals are due by 1:00 local time on
October 13, 1998. The solicitation and related documents were released
electronically via EPA's Public Access Server and can be found at the
following Internet address:
http://www.epa.gov/oamhpod1/adp_placement/iiasc/index.htm. Diskettes
and hard copies of the solicitation and related documents are not being
distributed to firms (including those on the bidders list) unless they
contact the Contracting Officer in writing and inform the Contracting
Officer that they are unable to download the RFP and related documents
from EPA's Web page. Requests for diskettes may be submitted via
Internet E-mail to cranford.jennifer@epamail.epa.gov or via fax at
202-565-2554. Requests for hard copies of the solictation and related
documents are discouraged. Telephone requests are also discouraged
because of the high volume of telephone calls received on this
acquisition. Offerors should pay close attention to the RFP Section L
provision entitled "Disclosure Statement for Organizational Conflicts
of Interest." This provision requires offerors to submit information
covered by the provision to provide the EPA with an opportunity to
assess its vulnerabilities relative to organizational conflicts of
interest prior to award. Offerors should also pay close attention to
the RFP Section M provision entitled "Eligibility Requirements for
Award." Again, requests for hard copies of the solictation and related
documents are discouraged. The EPA intends to use its web page and CBD
as a means of conveying information to the public regarding this
