The Department of Treasury, Financial Management Service (FMS), intends to procure on a sole source basis, teleprocessing services, including technical support, from General Dynamics Information Service (formerly known as Computing Devices International, a division of Ceredian Corporation), 1919 South Eads St., Arlington, VA 22202. Services are required for continuation of the proprietary Government On-Line Accounting Like System (GOALS), as well as assistance in transitioning from the current CALL-370 platform using the proprietary software to a government-furnished platform. The performance period is estimated to be from October 1, 1998 through September 30, 1999, with two one-year option renewals. The solicitation will be released on or about September 7, 1998. Interested vendors must submit a written technical capability statement which clearly demonstrates their capability to fulfill the required services by no later than 15 days after the date of this synopsis.
