ACTIVITIES. This acquisition is a competitive 100% Small Business Set
Aside. SIC 8711 -- $20.0 million size standard for contracts and
subcontracts awarded under the National Energy Policy Act (NEPA) of
1992. The Department of Energy, Office of the Assistant Secretary for
Fossil Energy (ASFE), Offfice of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for
Natural Gas and Petroleum Technology (DAS/NGPT) requires up to 131,325
Direct Productive Labor Hours (DPLH) of Technical Support Services in
Natural Gas and Petroleum Technologies and Petroleum Import and Export
Activities. The successful offeror will provide technical, analytical,
and administrative support services in subject matter areas to include
advanced drilling, completion, and stimulation systems; advanced
diagnostics and imaging systems; reservoir life extension; gas storage;
oil and gas processing; oil and gas modeling analysis; oil and gas
policy analysis; regulatory activities associated with natural gas
imports and exports pursuant to the NGA; and related program activities
in international technology outreach. It is anticipated that this
acquisition will be made using a cost-plus-fixed-fee (CPFF) contract
type and having a base period of performance of 36 months (78,795 DPLH)
with two 12 month (26,265 DPLH) options. AS THIS SOLICITATION WILL BE
POSTED ON THE INTERNET, NO TELEPHONE OR FAX REQUESTS FOR THE
SOLICITATION WILL BE ACCEPTED. THERE WILL BE NO PRINTED COPIES OF THE
