The Operational Contracting Division intends to award a sole source (see Note 22) purchase order to Albuquerque Logistics, Inc, PO Box 1959, Tijeras, NM 87059-1959. The Nuclear Weapons Integration Division plans to perform electrical surveillance testing on a number of USAF Aircraft Monitor and Control (AMAC) systems. The WE1841 test set is the only test equipment capable of providing dynamic electrical current loads in compliance with USAF test requirements. The test set measures required voltage levels, records signal measurement data and prints out signal measurement date for future reference. 2. The proposed purchase order shall required the following: a. Liaison with NMI and other agencies as directed by NWI. b. Preparation of test plans test procedures and test reports; c. Attendance at equipment and software trials d. Maintenance of WE1841 test and associated test equipment e. Travel and subsistence as directed by NWI f. This will be firm fixed price purchase order 3. Do not request a copy of the solicitation, as one does not exist at this time. Your attention is directed to the following, and you must apply to be considered. Firms responding must submit a statement of capability, which shall demonstrate the offeror's experience/expertise to perform, subject services. Response with supporting documents are to be submitted to Det 8, Air Force Research Laboratory/PKOV, Attn: Katherine L. Weber, 2000 Wyoming Blvd SE, Kirtland AFB NM 87117-5606 no later than 11 September 1998. 4. Firms responding to this announcement should indicate whether they are or are not a Small Business, an 8(a) firm, a socially and economically disadvantaged firm or a Women-owned Business. The Government reserves the right to set-aside this requirement for the 8(a) program, small business or historically black colleges and universities, minority institutions based on responses to this synopsis. Firms shall indicate their size qualifications under SIC 8734. Standard Size $5.0 million. This requirement shall be procured using simplified acquisition procedures.
