USGS BUSINESS PARTNER PROGRAM AERIAL PHOTOGRAPHIC PRODUCTS The U.S. Geological Survey has further expanded its Business Partner Program and now seeks partners in the private sector to resell aerial photographs from its archive of some 8 million images. The photographs are mostly from 9-by-9-inch negatives, conforming to precise specifications for mapping and other land-resource management and research purposes. The most current collection, from the National Aerial Photography Program (NAPP), is 1 to 7 years old and covers the entire contiguous 48 States. Current USGS Business Partners, as well as other private organizations, are eligible for partnerships for aerial photo redistribution. As Business Partners, they will receive higher priority service than the general public; referrals of customers both from Customer Service staff as well as through USGS web pages; a staff dedicated to serving their needs; and, for volume orders, reductions of 30 percent from the standard price schedule (link to http://edcwww.cr.usgs.gov/glis/hyper/order_info/prices#NAPP).
