The Operational Contracting Division intends to award a purchase order for the lease of a Dozer, tractor on a monthly basis for a six month period. This acquisition is 100% set aside for small business. This is a combined synopsis/request for quotes. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a separate solicitation shall not be issued. This solicitation number, F29650-98-Q9114, is being issued as a request for quotes. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-4. The objective is to receive quotations for the monthly lease of a fully service/maintain dozer with the option for the Government to own the equipment. Contractor shall accomplish the following: Contractor shall provide all labor, parts, tools, and transportation necessary to deliver and fully service a dozer, which is a D8 or TD 25, or equal. The contractor shall provide maintenance/service as part of the lease.Repair of the dozer will be covered under a separate line item. Replacement equipment shall be required if dozer is unserviceable for any length of time. New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax is required to be included in the offer. The Government will evaluate quotes in response to the solicitation without discussion and will award a purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation, is most advantageous to the Government considering only price. Offeror's are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certification-Commercial Items, with their offer.
