16 -- RETROFITS TO THE AN/APS-137B(V)5 RADARS SOL N00019-95-C-0198 POC Ann Phan, AIR-2.3.2.2.6, (301) 757-5250 E-MAIL: phanat.jfk@navair.navy.mil, phanat.jfk@navair.navy.mil. The Naval Air Systems Command intends to issue modifications to Contract N00019-95-C-0198 with Raytheon TI Systems, Inc., McKinney, Texas to retrofit the AN/APS-137B(V)5 radars for the following: 1) approximately 35 Radar Set Control Interface (RSC-I) and Signal Data Converter (SDC) Weapons Replaceable Assemblies (WRAs) will be retrofited from aluminum substrate to copper substrate to enhance heat dissipation and 2) approximately 17 Video Converter Units (VCUs) will be retrofited and upgraded to accommodate for video anomalies associated with the Maverick and SLAM missiles. Raytheon TI Systems, Inc. is the sole manufacturer of the AN/APS-137V(V)5 radar and the only contractor with the expertise, experience and drawings to perform these retrofits.
