Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) intends to make an award to Gilson, Inc., 3000 West Beltline Highway, Middleton, WI 53562-0027, for the purchase of an Automated Trace Enrichment of Dialysates (ASTED) XL System. The system includes an ASTED XL sampler unit with 123 mm vertical arm, two Rheodyne 7010 injection valves, a Gilson keypad with 722 ASTED XL software, septum-piercing needles, one 100 ul dialysis block, five premounted 15 kD dialysis membranes, five Gilson Prelute 10 um Hypersil ODS trace enrichment cartridges and two 1 ml syringes. Also, we will need a 402 Syringe Pump, dual module with two valves; 100/115 v. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION DOCUMENT AVAILABLE. Gilson is the only known source for providing this equipment. All interested concerns must identify their interest in writing and fully document their capability to meet the agency's requirements by forwarding a detailed response by September 21, 1998.
