The video laser discs were developed specifically for the Marine Corps under contract M67854-94-C-2014 to work with the Indoor Simulated Marksmanship Trainers (ISMT) awarded under the same contract. The video laser discs are reproduction nondevelopmental items that are unique Marine Corps requirements and are not available from any other source. These are critical items that will support Marine Security Guards, Marine Security Forces and the Provost Marshall Office in the United States and overseas. The Marine Corps will purchase (116) laser video discs containing 35 shoot/no shoot scenarios, (37) laser video discs containing 67 shoot/no shoot scenarios, (22) laser video discs containing 19 video range/70 shoot/no shoot scenarios and (59) judgmental pistol shooting software kits.
