84 -- LABORATORY SMOCKS AND COVERALLS SOL 98C317(C) DUE 091798 POC Grace White, Contract Specialist, (404) 842-6553 The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention/National Center for Infectious Diseases (CDC/NCID) intends to award an indefinite delivery contract for the purchase of laboratory coveralls and smocks. The contract will be for a period of one base year plus three twelve-month option periods. Specifications for coveralls are as follows: Coveralls must be Kappler, Model #1414 or equal. Any substitute product must meet or exceed the following salient characteristics: serged seam; 26" polyester non-sparking zipper; elasticized face opening; attached skid-resistant boots; elastic wrist ankle openings; S.E.I. certified; material of white Tyvek, Circle R, Style 1422A (no substitute material will be accepted). To be provided in sizes XL and XXXL. Size requirements for XL are 27.00" chest (half); 29.50" inseam; 36.50" sleeve outseam; 39.75" center back seam. Size requirements for XXXL are 30.75" chest (half); 31.25" inseam; 39.75" sleeve outseam; 41.25" center back seam. Specifications for smocks are as follows: Smocks must be Kappler, Model #1112 or equal. Any substitute product must meet or exceed the following salient characteristics: complete wrap around with no areas exposed; long sleeves, open cuff, material of white Tyvek, Circle R, Style 1422A (no substitute material will be accepted). To be provided in sizes XL and XXXL. Size requirements for XL are 28.00" chest (half); 34.50" sleeve outseam; 7.50" wrist (half); 44.50: center back seam; 44;00" shoulder to hem; 40.00" wright tie length; 12;00" neck tie length.
