Giuliano, PH (301)227-4215 FAX (301)227-1847 The Carderock Division Naval Surface Warfare Center intends to negotiate a sole source procurement with Hamamatsu Corporation for real-time image processing and analysis system to accept RS-170 analog video signals, process the images to enhance features and make spatial measurements, process the images to improve quality and make intensity measurements, and support display capabilities such as pseudocolor, superposition, split screen, masks ets. All processing functions shall be accessible via menus using only mouse control. The unit shall also support remote control and data download via a SCCI port. Minimal size and weight of the total package is critical. This procurement consists of the processing system itself, control mouse, simple Macintosh remote control software and documentation. Only one responsible source and not other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. Anticipated award is 08/21/98.
