Wright, 202-622-0209. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for
commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart
12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this
notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations
are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation No. DO-99-0003 is a request for quote(RFQ). The
solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those
in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-06. The Department of
the Treasury intends to award a sole-source purchase order to DOXSYS,
Inc., for the lease of Viewstar software including Viewstar 50 Seat
Production License, Viewstar 10 Seat Development License, Viewstar
Process Agent and Viewstar 10 User Test System Licenses. The proposed
requirement will purchase software maintenance media and documentation
for the properitary Viewstar software package which run on theLocal
Area Network on a Compaq Server. The requirement for this software
maintenance are as follows: The vendor must provide hotline support for
all products, new releases of all products, bugs fixes for all products
and documentation for all new releases for all products covered under
this agreement. This requirement is designed under the authority of 41
U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. This synopsis is
published for information purposes only. This requiement is not a
set-aside for small business. The Standard Industrial Classification
(SIC) Code for this acquisition is 7379. The anticipated period of
performance for this requirement is October 01, 1998 through September
30, 1999. The places of delivery are the Department of the Treasury
(main building and annex), 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, N.W., Washington,
DC 20220; the Department of the Treasury. The clauses and provisions
listed below are incorporated and made a part of this soliciatation:
