During the period September 1998 through November 1998 Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) intends to acquire various transmission services in support of NASA Mission and Programmatic communications requirements. Theserequirements are non-mandatory or outside the scope of FTS2000, and cover all types of transmission services/circuits to include voice, dedicated data, telemetry, video, and IP routed traffic. Data transmission requirements rangefrom 9.6Kbps to OC-3, and may require ATM, Frame Relay, or SONET capability. Dependent upon service level and performance requirements CSC may request terrestrial lines, satellite services or any combination of the two. Servicesare required worldwide; however, the majority of requirements are within the continental United States. Since a large number of these requirements are mission support related, lead-times between knowledge of the requirement and required implementation date are usually very short. Therefore, thisannouncement is the only notice that will be posted in regards to these requirements. CSC maintains a list of companies who are qualified and have expressed an interest in competing for these requirements.
