The period of performance will be from 03 Sep 98- 31 Aug 99. Description: The Air Force Office of Special Investigations, Counterintelligence Division, Bolling AFB, Washington, DC, proposes to procure on a firm fixed-priced subscription, sole source basis from on-line an international photographic archive on a 24 hour a day, 7 days a week schedule. As the sole Air Force focal point for counterinelligence, AFOSI is responsible for designing, presenting, distributing, and storing numerous classified and unclassified publications and presentations to support a myriad of Air Force of Air Force defensive programs. The contractor shall provide on a 24 hour day, 7 days a week basis Worldwide News Picture Service subscription. The service will be provided at a workstation to be designated by the AFOSI/XOQM, Counterintelligence Chief of Staff, currently located in P-3, on Duncan Avenue Bolling AFB, Washington, DC. The service is to be provided from a single satellite source. The equipment to be provided by the Contractor shall be in good operating condition and the Contractor shall bear all cost of maintenance necessary to keep the equipment working properly, provided the required repairs are not due to the fault of the Government. The Contractor shall provide a toll-free number for the maintenance point of contact. Period of performance is 12 months. This service is critical to the effective and efficient development and publicaton of the materials necessary to support Air Force defensive programs. See no. Note 22. Authority is 10 USC 2304(c)(1).
