THIS PROJECT CONSISTS OF PROVIDING THE LABOR, EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS TO PERFORM THE RENOVATION OF BUILDING 4732. THE WORK CONSISTS OF REPAIR AND MODERNIZATION OF INTERIOR ARCHITECTURAL, MECHANICAL, AND ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS IN BUILDING 4732. ALL REQUEST FOR IFB PACKAGE MUST BE IN WRITING, STATING THE COMPLETE COMPANY NAME, ADDRESS, AND TELEPHONE/FAX NUMBER. A CASHIERS CHECK IN THE AMOUNT OF $25.00, MADE PAYABLE TO "NASA CASHIER" MUST ACCOMPANY ALL REQUEST FOR IFB. THE AWARD OF THIS PROJECT IS CONTINGENT UPON THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. The order of magnitude for the procurement is BETWEEN $1,000,000 AND $5,000,000 and the effort shall be completed within 360 calendar days after notice to proceed. This procurement is a total small business set-aside. This procurement is part of the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The SIC Code and small busines size standard for this procurement are 1541 and $17.0M, respectively. The anticipated release date of the IFB is on or about SEPTEMBER 21, 1998 with an anticipated offer closing date of on or about OCTOBER 28, 1998. The provisions and clauses in the solicitation are those in effect through FAC 97 -- 07. The firm date for receipt of bids will be stated in the IFB. Drawings will be available from the PRIMARY POINT OF CONTACT. All responsible qualified sources may submit a bid which shall be considered by the agency.
