This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation number is DADA09-98-Q-0685 and is issued as a Request for Quotes (RFQ). The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-05. This requirement is restricted 100% to small business. The Standard Industrial Code (SIC) is 3844 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. The government intends to award a contract for the following name brand Argon Plasma Coagulation Unit for Endoscopic Applications manufactured by E.R.B.E. USA, Inc., 2225 Northwest Prkwy, Suite 105, Marietta, GA 30067, or EQUAL. (1) APC 300/ICC 200 E-A System Capital, 1 set, to include: 1 ea APC 300 Argon Plasma Coagulator; 2 ea Pressure Reduction Valves; 1 ea APC Trolley w/Accessory Fixation; 1 ea Connecting Cable APC 300 to ICC 200 Generator; 1 ea Footswitch Connector APC 300, 1 ea Reusable Probe Connector Hose 2m, 1 ea ICC 200 w/EndoCut and Argon Capable Electrosurgical Gen; 1 ea Double Pedal Footswitch; 1 ea Adapter for using Bicap or Goldpr; 1 ea Ignition Tester; 2 ea Argon Gas Tank-Full; (2) Starter Consumables for System, 1 set, to include: 2 ea Flexible APC Probe (10/box); 1 ea APC Filter, Membrane Filter (50/box); and 2 ea NESSY Monitoring Split Pad (50/case).
