The Phased Array Neurovascular Coil will be used for head and neck vascular MRI studies. The Phased Array Neurovascular Coil has the following capabilities and/or functions: allows imaging of the brain and neck tissues and bloods vessels in one exam without repositioning the patient; covers at least a 40 cm distance; is easily accessible for emergencies; allows for the imaging of the thoracic arch vessels; increases the signal-to-noise of MR scans; and interfaces with existing Siemens VISION 1.5 Tesla MR scanner.
